I wanted to know if anyone has a good stain remover. I have a shirt that has an oil stain from perfume. I have tried everything to get it out. Anybody have a sugestion on what to use?

This is hard to answer without plugging a product. I use oxy clean, however. It's removed stains of all sorts even after they've been put through the dryer.

I haven't tried it, but this is a popular remedy that I've seen in newspaper articles and online.
To remove a perfume stain, sponge or soak the stain in cool water. If stain remains, soak 15 minutes in a solution of 1 quart lukewarm water, 1/2 teaspoon liquid dish detergent and 1 tablespoon white vinegar. Launder as usual. I've seen others that call for hydrogen peroxide (white clothes only!). Good luck. |

Frugal Living Tip: Simple Pre-Wash Laundry Stain Remover
Mix equal parts of baking soda, water, and peroxide, and apply the mixture to stubborn stains on your clothes. It will fizz for few minutes then wash the clothes as usual. - Endymion |
