Default Easy solution: antibacterial dish soap

There are all kinds of kitchen counter sprays, foams and powders. Here's a quick fix that saves money. Antibacterial dish soap. Even when loading the dishwasher, I still use dish soap to clean pots and pans. Just dip your sponge or dishcloth into the soapy water and wipe down counters and table. On housecleaning days I use a solution with bleach for extra clean.

i can not survive in the kitchen without the one and only original Windex Cleaner. it works great on everything. i even spray it on the kitchen floor before mopping where you get those stuborn greasy spots. spray it on the dishes before and after soaking them to get rid of that stinky dish smell.

Thumbs up Re: Easy solution: antibacterial dish soap

i also use the anti-bacterial dish soap in the kitchen.. but also tend to use it all over the house and in the bathrooms.. we have it in all of them. i confess i am a hand washing fanatic.. especially when cooking and handling food. and yes, the bleach mixture once a week on all the countertops and such works well for us. also, i have found it cuts down on colds and flus in the winter months.

a really good tip for cleaning.

Smile Something related...

When you mentioned bleach...I thought of something I've been doing lately to keep those little flying gnats out of the garbage disposal. Obviously, I clean the disposal, but they are still attracted to it.
Every night before I go to bed, I spray a bleach solution in the entire sink and into the garbage disposal. It seems to be working.

And since we always have fruit out (bananas, peaches, etc.) we tend to get those little fruit gnats or fruit flies? Anywhoos...here's how you can lick them:
Put some apple cider vinegar in a bowl, and cover tightly with plastic wrap. Poke some holes in the plastic wrap and set on your counter.
The little buggeres will be attracted to that vinegar and make their way thru the little holes and won't be able to get out. It's the greatest thing!

Default Easy solution antibacterial dish soap

I have spent the last month trying to find the source of my shower leak. After putting plastic up in various spots in the shower, it appears to be the soap dish. Ive removed the metal soap dish and recaulked both front and back. Still leaking into the basement Any ideas on how to seal it up tight??
Thank you
